If you haven’t heard of Noah Mills yet, you soon will. The lucky man picked to be the arm candy of Kim Cattrall’s character in Sex and the City 2 has a lot on his plate including another film Happy New Year hitting the indie circuit. Lucky for Noah, he won’t fall into the typecast of just another hot guy. Lucky for us, we caught him right before he left for Milan. Now if we could just sell him on Spaghetti Western films...

25 – Age?
Noah – 26.

How do you feel about all of this sudden success?

It’s cool that people are calling me an actor now. I’ve studied for a long time, and that was always my plan whether or not it materialized fast. Now, I’ve sorted out a lot of personal issues – so if I’m healthy in my personal life, then I can work.

Would you say that your personal life is in good shape then?

Yeah.

What’s changed?

I just caught up in going out.  Putting significant work into a craft grounds you, and when you’re caught up in other stuff (like I was) in New York, it’s tough.  I am definitely more grounded now than I was 2 - 2 ½ years ago.

Who would you love to work with?
I would love to work on a Clint Eastwood project. Russell Crowe, too – he’s good. I’ve never seen any bad work from him. Just to be around someone who is that confident. It would be cool to work with him.

You’re into these Western-type guys.
Oh yeah, I love “raw American”… I just love Clint Eastwood’s acting and all the other stuff he’s done.

So you like Spaghetti Westerns?

Not so much. I’m talking about (movies like) Unforgiven… but that’s not a Spaghetti Western. That’s a great Western.

But The Good, The Bad, The Ugly was a Spaghetti Western. That’s a classic!

It was, it was… No not so much, but I like film Million Dollar Baby. Fistful of Dollars was good. I have to say, I like the more realistic stuff, but I like the shit that makes me cry and Spaghetti Westerns aren’t gonna make me cry. But Clint does a lot of stuff now, directing and producing, so maybe he’ll do another movie.

Tell me about Sex and the City 2.

Well, as you know, I took some time off of acting and eased my way back into classes, so I auditioned once with the casting director and once with the producer and director. It was cool. It was my first experience of being really confident with the character. If you know your character, then it’s good.

What was it like working with all those girls?
They’re cool! It was really cool. I have to say, they are really… in shape! I saw Kim Cattrall up close and personal and she looks pretty good.

In the movie you play Samantha’s love interest. What was it like sleeping with Kim Cattrall?

Well, it was just the shot to imply that, but yeah it was good. Very professional. I got to do a couple of scenes with her before (the sex scene), and it was a little awkward jumping on the bed and everything but you know what? …
